Vietnam plans to export 6 million
metric tons of rice this year, down slightly from 6.05 million tons
last year, state media said Thursday, citing the Vietnam Food
Association.
The association said the country plans
to export 1.2 million tons in the first quarter, 2 million tons in the
second quarter, 1.5 million tons in the third quarter and 1.3 million
tons in the fourth quarter, reported Vietnam Economic News.
